Worked in the United Kingdom National Health Service from 1989 to 2021, retiring as a Consultant in Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine. Academic Training in Psychoanalysis with the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute 2017-2022.

Interests include travel, charitable work in Pakistan, green technologies.
